IntelliCasa turns blue for the Royal Academy of Engineering

Here at IntelliCasa we wanted during this difficult time to step up and offer our help and services like so many others are doing to help the NHS through this very challenging time.

Our CEO Elie Kfoury has volunteered his engineering expertise through the Royal Academy of Engineering to help Health Service during the coronavirus pandemic.

There are a number of new medical facilities being built in London, Manchester and Birmingham to treat patients with COVID-19.

In order to maintain patient care, many clinical and support staff have been drafted in from their Trusts to take up roles within these field hospitals. However, this will leave both the Trusts and the Field Hospitals short of technical and logistical support, which they will need.

The IET has been approached by the Royal Academy of Engineering, on behalf of NHS England, to ask if as a Professional Engineering Institution, they could support the NHS in providing technical expertise to the Health Service over the coming weeks.

Several of our team have also enlisted as NHS volunteers whilst they are working from home in order to help on a personal level.
