Lighting, satellite TV & network
Asta House, Fitzrovia London
Asta House provides a new take on urban living, right in the heart of the characterful and well-connected
Fitzrovia District with its great history of artists, writers and designers. With a W1 postcode, this is a
place close to the bustle of Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street, yet tucked away on the quiet corner
of Whitfield Street and Chitty Street.
Asta House is an airy, wide-windowed brick and Cumbrian slate building – originally for light-industrial use,
then offices and studios – dating from the 1950s.
Derwent London has transformed this very adaptable building into a thoughtfully designed and richly detailed residential enclave with a variety of apartments and two penthouses, all overseen by an on-site concierge.
IntelliCasa are contracted to maintain the lighting system, satellite TV, Fiber network and an uninterruptable power supply.
Working on the roof with aerials and satellite dishes, on the 5th floor with fiber wall mounted racks, and in the basement comms room with AV racks ensuring that all systems are working perfectly.
Satellite systems are used for a wide range of applications, including communication, broadcasting, and navigation. To ensure the reliability and longevity of satellite systems, regular maintenance is key. Here are some essential maintenance tasks that our team carries out:
Check for signal strength: Regularly monitor the signal strength of your satellite system to ensure optimal performance. Weak signals can lead to disruptions in communication and data transmission.
Weatherproofing: Ensure that all outdoor components of the satellite system are properly weatherproofed to withstand harsh weather conditions such as rain, snow, and extreme temperatures.
Software updates: Stay up-to-date with software updates provided by the satellite system manufacturer to enhance performance and security.
Proper maintenance of fiber internet networks is essential to prevent network outages and ensure consistent performance. Here are some of our maintenance tasks to look after internet networks:
Regular inspections: Conduct regular inspections of fiber optic cables to check for any signs of damage or wear and tear. Addressing issues promptly can prevent network disruptions.
Cleaning: Keep fiber optic connectors clean and free from dust and debris to maintain optimal signal transmission.
